Alabaster
In 1949, the Church of the Nazarene was having difficulty raising funds for missions. NMI Council member, Elizabeth Vennum, had the idea of asking people to give up a want to meet a need. From this idea, came the beginning of the Alabaster Offering.
This offering takes place in February and September every year to purchase buildings and properties around the world.
For more information, go to the Alabaster website.
